Here's one more:

A link to Parker Mass' instructions on how to replace the jack in a PRE-REFINED Parker Fly:

Am I missing it somewhere? I'm trying to find a manual for the Southern Nitefly model.

Unfortunately, that manual is not in our collection, and, personally, I’m not certain that one exists.

Hello, Everyone -

I have looked at a few of the price list PDF's. Very helpful, but I'm confused about the wording. The far right column shows (then current) prices of the various models. The 2004 document calls the prices "List Price." The 2008 doc calls them "List." Does that mean actual LIST Price (as opposed to street price) or do they just mean "List" like here's the list of prices. I'm asking because the List Price for any product is basically meaningless to the consumer. Any thoughts? Thanks for your time!

Hi @ChrisB, the List price is, in most cases, what they sold for new to customers. There was a time when stores were able to get Flys at a lower than list price, but what the customer paid was always list unless you happened to be in Wilmington and Ken made you a deal.

When I bought my first Fly new in 2005 (USM-era), the price I paid from Magdon Music (where I bought it) was what they paid directly from Parker—they didn’t add anything on top and I have the paperwork showing that they didn’t get the instrument at a lower price either. By that time in Parker Guitars history, bigger stores like Sam Ash and Guitar Center were no longer getting guitars from Parker at a lower cost either or even carrying them, so if you wanted to order a Fly through those stores, you essentially paid them the full price up front that it would cost them to purchase one from Parker.

Thank you for the quick reply and information. It's very helpful. You were also the first to respond to my initial inquiry in October about the Fly I had made contact with was trying to learn more about. The more I read about these guitars, the more interesting they become.
