Phil McKnight, the "Know Your Gear" YouTube guy, was a Parker dealer for 10 years and in this YT post he explains how he had to buy a group of rare guitars from a seller in order to get back this one Parker that he had originally ordered when he was a shop owner.

It was one of two such models (different colours) he ordered at the time. And it's a stunner!

I couldn't help it! I still hate myself for not buying the lime one when it was for sale not only did i buy tangerine once, i bought it 2 times lol reverb kicked out the sale the first time because I needed to be authenticated so I opened another account and bought it on that one. You may have noticed it was gone and then briefly popped back up. I was freaking out because I'm in London on vacation trying to make all this happen. The whole ordeal ended up costing a nice necklace from Van Cleef's for the old lady as well

Yes sir! It's either jewelry or a new purse, that usually calms things down

I guess that's a much better arrangement than the anecdotal husband who tries to sneak in new guitar purchases without his wife knowing.

I’m blessed on that count. Whenever I mention to my wife that I have an eye on a guitar, she questions me as to why I did not buy it yet.

Don't get me wrong, there have definitely been a few that were conveniently shipped to the office instead of home
