Selling a few flys

Yes, that’s right, you heard right.
Apparently, I have too many Flys.
I don’t even know how this happened.
If you know me and my posts, I really spend too much time & money modding them to see what sounds I can get out of them. I’m going to start with 3 of my favorites, all of which have graphtech saddles and electronics, which means that parts are still being produced.
You can read about them here:
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=260&p=2172&hilit=MIDI
...where I blather on about them.
Mistakenly calling them midi doesn’t mean you can’t use them that way, you would just need a box to go from the 13-pin out to a box that will allow midi commands. I use this to make sounds and play through and amp and the PA.
We’ll start with this— the 1st Fly I ever owned and the first fly I had modded. This had seen about a hundred gigs and most of them with the GK3 wart strapped on, playing alternate tunings Done with a Roland VG8 and working with a singer playing Joni Mitchell songs. The strap peg stripped so I had to move that and there were a few light dings but the fretboard was the best thing I had ever felt. It still is.the neck and fretboard are perfect. I had planned on doing the GK3 internal install, but this GraphTech install by Dayn Warren is where I ended up instead…
1996 Black Deluxe
208066BP USA
208 (day of year) July 26th
06 (Production Number)
6 (1996)
Note that the blemishes in the pictures are not bangs or cracks, but screw holes where a GK3 was installed and the moved strap pin.
The Piezo & Magnetic tone are both push-pull pots.
Piezo has the mid/dark switch and I mostly play with it pulled out.
Pulling the Mag Tone puts the humbuckers out-of-phase.
Because of the graphtech wiring, it is possible change the position of the knobs if you wanted to move the synth volume to the back and the mag & tone forwards or whatnot.
I have exactly $3200 spent on this guitar.
That’s right, I bought it when they cost what they’re selling for today. Weird, huh.
It has a good hard case and I will ship it to you for $3000.
Look at me! Operating at a loss in today’s marketplace!
Here are the frets at either end:
Here are the 2 places where the finish isn't perfect:
I don't even remember when then first ding happened and the 2nd is from using the truss rod.
I will answer any questions or offers or whatnot when I get home. I’d like to avoid Reberb & eBay because of the taxes and fees, but if I don’t get any nibbles here I’ll promptly list them over there.
I play this through a gr55 and I can set you up with all my settings and current patches on a flag drive if that will help your synthesizing needs.
Film at 11.
Thanks for looking.
