You Can Order These Parts Here
Thank you to everyone in the Fly Clone community that helped us test these and a special shoutout to @Peaches who helped bring this project to the finish line, @Patzag, @dayn, @jb63 and many others who have helped test these! We are thrilled to make these parts available to the Fly community!
These parts are direct replacements for the OEM flexible PCBs in original Parker Flys. We developed and tested these parts in-house at the Electric Guitar Innovation Lab (EGIL) and then beta-tested the manufactured parts with members of the Fly Clone community. These parts provide the same functionality as the original parts used during the Ken Parker era of Parker Guitars, but are made from more modern and stronger materials.
These flexible PCBs are available through our Reverb shop as a single set of two pieces or as discounted two-pack of two sets. They ship in an anti-static bag and can be stored as a “just-in-case” backup should your OEM flex connector ever tear.
Funds from the sale of these parts will continue to support the Fly Clone project and other research efforts of the Electric Guitar Innovation Lab!
Please note: a qualified technician should install these parts. To replace a flex cable, have a qualified technician desolder the two original flex pieces from the existing toggles, switches, etc. in your Fly, and solder these two new replacement parts. The use of desoldering braid is recommended.
