PAB40 Acoustic Bass (2007) Demo

Here's a demo I made a few years ago for the PAB40 Acoustic Bass.
It was a fine instrument; played well and sounded great. I'm not really a bass player, and I didn't have much need for it, so I sold the bass to a fellow forum member that both loves Parker Guitars and plays the bass! It's a bit of a rare USM instrument, so I've included the video and audio recording here in case anyone is curious. I used GHS Pressurewound Phosphor Bronze strings for the recording.

Designed from the ground up, the Parker Acoustic/Electric bass represents a new level of quality and sound in a performance bass. Utilizing the same ground breaking body shape as our Event Series guitars, the PAB40 adds our patented feedback suppressing Soundslot design and features customized Fishman Matrix Bass System electronics.
For the body we chose American Black Walnut for its deep sound qualities and added an integrated thumb rest for ease and comfort in play. An ebony fingerboard and bass balanced bridge add solid punch and sustain to this remarkable instrument. Our first acoustic bass may well be the last acoustic bass you’ll ever own.
TONES/SOUNDS: Smooth, Mellow lows and mids, with definitive highs, with a sound reminiscent of an upright.
