**SOLD** WTS: problematic Fly Deluxe

SOLDSOLDSOLD
I have a '97 Parker Deluxe in red with a few issues. It's currently playable but to really play like a parker it WILL need work.
Background - I drove to Rhode Island to buy this for $1200 from the 2nd owner who had it for 20+ years.
Issues in order of importance:
- Truss will need a proper reset (clamp method that Ken references in his post.) I did a soft reset because the truss was seized and it needed some Kroil to get moving, so I can confirm the truss functions but that the neck itself needs to be adjusted.
- Some of the frets seem to have slight sprout to them (notably the 2nd or 3rd fret will catch the high E if you bend it off of the fingerboard.) None of them have fallen out or been reglued to my knowledge.
- I've blocked the trem system using the template VJ posted, works well but it's obviously functioning as a fixed bridge at the moment.
- Lots of general corrosion (this thing lived near the beach for 20 years.)
- Sounds like there is a grounding hum on the humbucker side of the wiring. With the magnetic pickups on 0 and only using the piezo the hum is absent.
- Lots of finish cracks/breaks. Noticeable chunk out at the bottom of the body as well as finish cracks along either side of the neck (will get proper photos of all of this.)
- Missing a nut for one of the 3-way toggle switches
- Does not include case/gigbag
Price: SOLD
photo album (will try to get pictures with a proper camera in the coming days)
