the Fly Clone Project

Anyone ever heard of this model? Looks similar to the PM 20 Pro with abalone etc...
Was said perhaps a small batch made for NAMM show? Has "0003" on highest fret. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

That's a new one on me, but man that's a beauty!! Never heard of a model 27.
Do you actually own this gem or just came across the pictures somewhere?

Based solely on the low serial number and inlay treatment, I would tend to think that it's likely a promotional prototype, testing the waters for interest. Very classy.

So, this one is mine. I won it off eBay... and it just arrived yesterday. A full workout will need to wait until the weekend, but my first impressions are as follows. Yes, it's a Parker prototype. Super thin neck (surprisingly so, actually), and build quality is excellent. Pretty much like a string-thru PM20, but the abalone trim is spectacular.
