I saw that too—always a risk buying something like this. $800 starting + tax + $58 shipping, so you’re in it for closer to $900.

My general thought is usually, “What would I ultimately put into this all-in before I felt comfortable/assured bringing it to a gig”. Unfortunately, we don’t know why that Fly ended up on this tech’s workbench to begin with—was it just electronics? Frets or truss? Filling in the pickup pockets—that seems like a pain.
