Already past the Lacey Act, past hazardous materials (twice), past potential formaldehyde in potential composite woods potentially in the hard case (which I would have successfully inhaled over the past 14 years anyway). They were unsure about the tariff code (surprise), which should never have been an issue because it's a used item.

As a good Austrian I've added some Mozart Kugeln (chocolate/marzipan/nougat/pistacchio balls) and Manner Schnitten (wafers with hazelnut cream) as a gift. They're only the two most famous (and cliché) sweets from Austria. But they are looking for FDA clearance and seem to be debating different FDA codes for cookies vs. chocolate.

I've supplied pretty much every document I have, including the Parker factory spec sheet mentioning all materials and components that were used during construction. The buyer (*makes vaguely magical hand gestures to imply mystery*) has been extremely patient in filling out forms and communicating with the delivery company and customs.

They say "good things come to those who wait". The NX-01 is a good thing and the buyer waited.
Hoping for good news soon.

Greetings...

That is quite a task list you both have covered so far!
Its like a solution desperately looking for a problem but there really isn't a solution now to frame around... Odd about tariff code for what should still be an electric guitar!

Thank you for the insight to how importing Parker's these days looks like with the composite disclosures. Good thing you didn't put a cherry ontop of the harmless Austrian confectioneries or more agencies might have been involved :o

Indeed, the icing on the cake will be the rewarded patience getting NX-01 successfully moved!

I just hope the name "Toxic" didn't get into the paperwork. That could add another 3 to 6 weeks!

It would be a tiny bit of slightly rotten smelling dust by now.

You just crossed the line from mad scientist into evil genius territory.
Like this topic's title says, "Toxic" was only ever a project name and nothing I actually used as a name. It was always the NX-01, "the green one" back when I still had the orange Deluxe, and "the Parker" after that.

The package has cleared customs on Thursday, the 10th of April. If anyone was wondering about the thundering transatlantic sigh of relief, it might have been this morning's update: "Estimated Delivery: Monday, April 14th, 09:30 to 13:30." Almost there...

Speaking of this topic, I'm sure the new owner will keep it alive. There's still a very special last photo waiting to be posted by me, which will be coordinated with the first photos of the NX-01 in its new habitat. I plan to start a new topic about my ongoing post Parker gear journey in the Rig Rundowns section.

Greetings...
