Hello Everyone,
I'm looking to purchase a Parker water slide decal for my Nitefly headstock, as shown in the pic below. I accidentally scratched, then stupidly decided to sand it off completely. Any help from anyone on this forum or from friends would be most appreciated. Thanks.

I wish some solution came to mind, @Browndog Owner—we do have the decal artwork for the Fly here, but not the NiteFly.
Maybe it could be remade by some professional?

That works. I know someone that can make it from the file. I believe it’s called a vector file(?) If you could send it over, that would be great.
Re: Wanted: Parker Nitefly water slide decal
I wish I had something to send over, but there’s nothing like that on our site for the NiteFly, unfortunately, only for the Fly. When I was suggesting that a pro could create a vector file, they might use, for example, an image of the original art taken from the NiteFly manual.

There’s a few ways you can do this but weird that I found this the other day while I was organizing in my corner of the basement.
I don’t really have any use for this silkscreen but if you or anyone else wants it we can work something out.
Will post more info on additional logo approaches soon.

I can probably edit that pdf to have the nitefly logo too if I get a few free moments with illustrator.

That’s an awesome discovery. Now we need to find someone who knows how to use it. I’m inept, but happy to buy the finished product.
Re: Wanted: Parker Nitefly water slide decal
Well, I do actually know how to use it, I just don’t have a nitefly and don’t anticipate owning one that needs a logo (or otherwise).
I don’t have the inks but they are available.
Iirc the original fly used dry rub on transfers with clear coat over it. You can have a sheet of these custom made but it’s not cheap. Probably $60 a sheet or something like that. You’ll need the same pdf file as for waterslides. I think they are done by chromatec.
Waterslides are great, but you can have compatibility issues with the clear coat. Sometimes the ink dissolves into the clear coat and sometimes the clear coat makes the decal crack or curl. And often the outline where the decal is trimmed shows. Easy enough to test.
I’ll see if I can do a pdf and share in the next few days.

Started a nitefly pdf file, not done yet.
However, you can buy custom chromatec transfers on etsy for not much $$.
As an example only, no affiliation, and not sure if its exact the same as what the factory used in the old days.
