Reverb article - Ken Parker thoughts

Post by alembicman5 »

This was interesting to read. I wonder if the 30k guitars made was in the total run of the company, or only the ones made under Ken's leadership.

Hi @alembicman5—Ken is referring to the guitars made during his time at Parker Guitars.

Thanks @vjmanzo

Would that be all Parker branded guitars including the imports or just the USA Fly models?

The more I read about Parker, the deeper the rabbit hole goes...

Happy to help!

I’ve spoken about that number, 30,000, a few times with @Ken Parker and his former associate at Parker Guitars. It’s an estimate for sure—possibly a high estimate—but they were speaking about Flys and NiteFlys and not the imports, which were made by Cort as noted in the History thread.
