Price of a refined fly Artist

Post by KenanJ »

Hey guys,

I just make a quick post to know your opinion on a model I saw on a local dealer, I just want to know what would be the market price for this type of fly, I read a lot about Artist fly but you always referred to it as pre refined one are the refined one also Artist ones?
Overall the guitar looks mint, the only info I have is te serial number: 20160505DSS.

I attach some shot for you guys to see :)

Cheers !

Hi @KenanJ—that is a refined Fly Artist; the serial is probably not copied correctly. It appears to be a 2005.

The market value is all over the map, I’m sorry to say; someone might pay $3,500 for it, someone might pay $6,500 for it.

If this is local, then maybe you can get it at a good price. Good luck!

I owe you one Kenanj! If it weren't for your post I never would have thought a Google search for Parker Fly Artist would yield anything but old results. Ed Roman just listed a pre refine artist for sale for 5999. I offered 5750 and she's coming home with me! Count yourself extremely lucky to find it any cheaper than that and absolutely BUY IT!

Don't sit on it too long, there's some ravenous collectors out there ;) And I wouldn't think (at least for me) there's be a huge difference between refine and pre-refine, maybe 500 bucks max? I'd be happy with either for sure.
