My friend's NiteFly has a knob missing. Is the original manufacturer of these knobs known?
They seem to be made from a rubber (like) material.

Ken made the original NiteFly rubber knobs; Mike G. has these available on Reverb.

The knobs above, which are for the Fly, are actually a catalog item.

Parts and Mike’s contact info available on the Anatomy of a Fly post.

A pity they have sold out. I'm trying to source some of these knobs for my NiteFly SA that I have on the way from Malta.

I was reading a Parker-centric blog post of Adrian Belew's from 2018, when I found that the company "Knobeez" exists.

One of the owners had commented on the post to let Fly owners know that they had replacement rubber knobs available. Given this was five years ago, there may have been insufficient demand for Fly-specific reproductions. Still, this seems a fair option for those with USM era Flys who'd like to shed the weight of their metal knobs.

@vjmanzo I have a personal 3d printer and I was wondering what kind of material is used for the original knobs. I know Ti can print TPU but I don’t know it’s if solid enough.

Hi @KenanJ—I've tried a few different filaments, and I think a molded part like the original is best instead of a printed one. The knob linked on the parts list is the closest we come. I contacted Davie's Moulding about a minimum order for a custom all-black design, but they wanted something like 1000 of them.

If you do end up printing some, let us know how it goes!

I used your link but the white line puts me a bit off… honestly for 1k piece I think we could sell them all… let me think about that. I also message the guy of Knobeez like @mmmguitar said. We’ll see how it goes. I’ll make some sketches with hard tpu. I keep you guys posted.

Being as the thread was bumped, I'll mention that I intend to put a set of those Knobeez through their paces in my next Fly project, and share my impressions of whether they live up to the guarantees on the listing page (e.g., that they fit 6mm and 1/4" pot shafts, knurled or smooth, and that they remain secure with push-pull use). However, Roland delaying the release of the gear i intend to use them with means that I can't get to it until some time in this next year.

I end up buying a set from Davie’s and a set from Knobeez. I got oblirated by the shipping fees being in France … I ordered some TPU95a and will 3d print some knobs and see how it compares !

Hey @KenanJ—I’m not sure why the STL for the knob is not in the repo, but I have some people looking into it. I’ll let you know when it turns up.
