Just acquired a Parker see picture below. the scratch plate has been replaced by a black one.Completely new to the Parker world and try to understand where the battery pack is. Any idea where it is or is this a model without piezo? FYI The serial number is 19054.

Welcome, @LLong! That’s a lovely first-generation NiteFly! It has a passive piezo system, which you can read about in the NiteFly history document here.
The passive piezo system in your instrument does not require a battery and was originally paired with a NiteMix. There are some comparable and new products that could deliver the same functionality, so have a peek at the manual and other info and you should be all set!
