Replacement bridge for fly

Post by Dingus »

What year(s) and model(s) does this bridge replace?

Here's what I have currently plus a midi fly neck thru with the factory roland setup that I haven't even gone through yet after I bought jt.

Thanks ya'll.

@Dingus, the strat spring holes in the bridge block lead me to assume it's a NiteFly trem. I haven't owned one to confirm this, but it should be a functional replacement for one of the later PDF and x24 guitar lines' trems, as well.

Swell collection, there. I've probably asked before and forgotten but, which is your favorite at the moment?

Thanks VJ for the reply. No doubt the golden godesss reigns supreme (i do slightly prefer pre refine) but the s2 is a close second. Wish they had built more s2"s and gone with standard pickups. I do like the hard tail as well I think everyone should have both. Bending notes feels totally different on a hard taiil as does heavy rhythm playing.amd there's more of a sonic difference in Parkers than I've heard on other hard tail vs tremolo models of any brand.

🤣🤣🤣

Marc is correct that it is a NiteFly bridge.

Yeah—I wanted an S2 for a while, but they’re not very common; @Ken Parker said that people just weren’t that into them, so they didn’t sell/make many 🤷

hss config is the most versatile setup, I don't know if that can be argued so that was always a puzzle to me why they went hh. Bought that one from our favorite guy lol. Paid 3200 for it I think, backdoored reverb so no tax. I paid up but glad I did.

Nice, Dingus! I second what mmmguitar said—collection looks great!

BTW—you can plug the pot hole in your Classic with one of these 3/8” plugs 👌

Someone please post the picture ... Can't go to that website.

I had an S2 for a long time. My only beef with it is that the neck pickup sounds best at the 24th fret position. It was a little thin on a 24-fret guitar.
Be that as it may, it was a remarkable guitar.
(Ken had it sent to me in exchange for a MidiFly which I disliked. (Too heavy, no arm carve, etc.) Such a gentleman: he called me about it!)

Thanks! And yeah I have a few guitars that need plugs when I leave the tone knob inside and move the volume further down. My only gripe pre or post is knob placement. But that's my gripe on every jackson and kramer too lol
