Fly Output Jack Tightening Tool

Hi everyone,

We're in the process of machining some jack tightening tools like this to make them available:

A wrench like this—known as a pin spanner—can be used to tighten the top portion of the output jack while preventing the barrel of the jack from rotating. The early Fly jack is a cool design, but rotating the jack can tear the delicate flex PCB cable inside the guitar.

We've 3D printed some parts that work well, so we're now in the process of machining a small batch! More info soon! Here's what the print looks like while tightening the Fly jack:

This is great!
I have successfully used a big paper clip for this purpose.
No matter - paper clip or fancy tool - one must hold the inside portion of the jack to avoid tearing of the flex cable.

Hi Greg—there are a few smaller projects like this wrench, vibrato arms, arm bushings, etc. that are in development and still something we intend to produce, but have taken a backseat to some of the larger FC projects.
