Hi all,
I just bought a Nitefly Mojo, and very lovely it is too! The trem came setup as fixed, or maybe bend-down only. Is it possible for a newbie (me) to set it to floating or is it best I take it to a luthier?
The manual just mentions loosening the Stop Screw, which sounds nice and easy, but I'm not sure what other implications that might have for the balance of the bridge.
Thanks for any help
Floating the trem
Re: Floating the trem
If you've ever set up a floating bridge (balancing the spring claw screws against string tension until the bridge is level with the top of the guitar), that's all you're having to deal with once the step stop screw on the rear is loosened enough for the trem to be "unlocked."
