Welcome, Chris/@Ondoid. I don't mean to downplay the other guitars when I point out what an eye-catcher the purple burst on that Mojo Flame of yours is. What kind of pickups are you running in the black P-38? And how do the P guitars compare to the Mojo, for you?

Welcome aboard, shipmate!
Nice stable there.
I agree with Marc. The Purple Burst is lovely!

Thanks guys! I just got the black P38 yesterday and haven’t gotten a chance to play it yet. I believe the guy said it has GFS pickups in it? The humbucker is the factory Parker one though. The piezos sound different in the p38 than in the mojo but both are great in their own way. The mojo sounds great with the piezo mixed with chorus and the p38 would absolutely be mistaken as a big ol acoustic guitar if someone heard it and wasn’t looking. I just had a Dimarzio super distortion installed in the sunburst P38 and it sounds awesome! (Had some cheesy humbucker in it when I bought it. But in the condition it’s in with a working piezo, I couldn’t pass it up for $350. I paid the same for the black P38) The P42 is amazing for metal and I currently leave that one tuned down a full step.

The mojo is incredible with all of the different sounds I can get out of it! I love the black and purple finish on it! Looks even better in person.

I used to own a black pre refined fly and a transparent red nitefly SA but unfortunately years ago I sold them when I was dealing with substance abuse issues and regretted it ever since. In August this year I had 0 Parker’s and as of yesterday I’m up to 4! Haha. Unless a nylon or bronze fly comes along I might have to stay with the 4 I have since the wife is telling me I don’t need anymore guitars hah. Glad to be part of the community here!

Congratulations on your Parkerization. The Mojo is a great instrument. I sold mine to finance some custom guitars, but still remember it as a great instrument. I just had to do some electronics upgrade as the original electronics were on the cheapish side. But with some sealed Bourns pots and a new switch, it rocked. The Duncan’s sounded great. The neck pickup was thick and juicy and quite pleasant playing Jazz.
