I recently purchased a 2007 Fly Classic. Does anyone have a schematic for the "refined" Fly electronics?
My Fly is draining batteries and the output jack is apparently okay; I'm afraid there is something bad on the circuit board.
Also any feed back on this is welcome.

can anyone provide me with the email / phone number of companies which sell the Parker wiring tapes, late 1990 without the Parasite plug at the Jack?
My Parker is: 330011BP USA, I have one wiring tape broken (A).. and they are difficult to repair. BTW I live in Austria (Europe). Thanks Mike

The Flex PCB is no longer produced. We are working to make replacements and have finalized a trace of the original design. You can follow this thread for more information.

Batteries are drained very quickly when the battery wires are reversed by mistake, make sure you check that.

I have a 2014 Fly Mojo MIDI and would also be interested in a wiring diagram of that model.

I believe the MIDI functionality is provided by the GraphTech Hexpander Advanced Preamp Kit (P/N PE-0440-00 OR PK-0440-00?) and GraphTech has installation instructions on their site; could be useful as a cross-reference. The wiring looks identical; however, the momentary up/down switch on mine is a normal sized three-way toggle, not the mini-toggle looking one included in that kit. I actually would love to have a source for the momentary switch as well if someone is in the know.

@Mitch5, @jb63, I suggest running this by the experts at https://www.vguitarforums.com - Even if they can’t ID the factory switch, I expect someone there can link to a near-identical one.

I’ve wondered this myself, but never came close enough to a Graphtech-era factory MIDIFly to check under the hood (that and the Roland push buttons and Graphtech momentary toggles in my modded Flys have been working for my meager needs).

Just dropping in to post my little wiring diagram while fixing my mag/piezo selector switch on my 2014 Mojo MIDI. The switch is a normal 3 way toggle with the inner tabs bent so they're not wired together and the contact tabs bent so they're open when the switch is in the middle position. Normally 3 way switches are both closed when in the middle position because they complete the circuit to HOT whereas with the way it's wired in the Mojo MIDI they short to GROUND when closed.

Thanks, @Mitch5. The way the factory modified the contacts of the switches comes up often enough that I was thinking of consolidating many of the posts pertaining to it (probably under this thread). And thanks specifically for the time you took to make a proper diagram - The last one I made was a pretty crummy MS Paint job .

Oh cool, I didn't see that post!

I have another snippet of information. I figured out what they did to modify the 3 way-toggle switch to be a momentary patch change switch for the MIDI hexpander. It seems that they doubled-up the outside contacts and bent the inner-most of the two so they can't hold the switch in place. This allows the switch to act as a momentary switch instead of being a toggle. However, I don't know if it's an On-Off-On or Off-On-Off configuration.

@Mitch5, it would need to function as a SPDT momentary on-off-on to trigger the S1/S2 switching used in 13 pin synths. Having never gotten a look under the hood of a Graph Tech-era Mojo MIDI, this answers a ten year lingering question of mine (as well as explaining why none of us ever heard about a part number for it). The Washburn Custom Shop strikes again. And again, I thank you!
