Trying to illustrate the crack I saw inside the body were the treble sides tremolo bushing fits that runs out to the trem rout, It runs to the hole drilled for the piezo wire, I clamped the crack as much as I could & dripped the #10 fast setting CA glue into the crack several times, The photo where you can see the light in the crack I used a small flashlight to make it show up.
It sealed it up nicely & I am going to paint over it to seal it all up.
Was thinking that an insert with a set screw might be an answer for the leaning post issue?
I will note that the nylon stabilizer bushings are too large on the OD Outside Diameter & are also too long for the bushing to be countersunk slightly.
Will have to spin the nylon bushings & cut the OD down & mill them shorter in a drill Mandel.
Still working on getting the patch blended into the body with lots of sanding & time.

In This Photo you can see the body filler I had to ad to get the contour right were the patch meets the tremolo bridge

Thought I MIGHT want to raise the pickups so I made up two thin foam inserts to match the pickups opening JUST IN CASE

More sanding required to feather out the finish cracks & sculpt the lower horn + blend it all together
Didn't get much time at Christmas as I was the Chef Today

It's a Good Feeling to give the instruments a 2nd chance & to give back by giving some away.
The Guy who received the Marquis would pawn it if it were worth more than $20.
It was the perfect guitar for him & even gave him a cheap gig bag, strap & a few picks
After looking at a B.C. Rich my son just got with its Black metal flaked finish, we might go with that on this Parker Fly

OT = Wife & I got our Covid 19 Pfizer boosters yesterday morning on Tuesday the 28th = 3rd So Far

Here's the B.C. Rich Pro X Eagle, It has some serious multi color flakes over the black finish & plays absolutely great too

B.C. Rich Eagle Serial #.jpg
I got my son a stand for his Steinberger XP-2 bass + a new gig bag for it too
Bought my Wife a Dishwasher
I also bought her some clothes & jewelry + a few other goodies

Been working on he opening for the tremolo using the trem & replacement to work on it.
Slow sanding & rounding the corners perfectly
Using a straight board to get the front edge flat & straight
Lots more work needed but getting closer
Need to go to Wolf Glass &Paint

Got around to working on the Fly this afternoon
Decided I needed to dismantle & clean the bridge because I want to mount it to get the gaps perfect
So I removed the six allen screws & unsoldered each saddle from the bridge
Started to sand out the marks in the bridge
I want to coat the bridge before I mount the new bearings & pins
I'm thinking of an industrial paint used on firearms called dura coat
I will plug the string holes to not allow any paint in there because of the needed ground of the strings balls for the piezo

Still need to get some sandpaper, sealer, paint & clear coat

My Good Ole Buddy Steve a Vietnam Veteran Passed last Saturday right as we showed up to see him
I knew there was trouble & went to see him

Here's a few photos taken today while i was working on the Fly Deluxe

One more photo of the removed saddles before I cleaned them up with a small brass brush
20220117_200016.jpg
NOTE: The D String saddle doesn't have the dot on it like the other five do?
They are all the same height & the radius is built into the bridge & no height adjustment for each saddle like other guitars
