Do pre-refined "screw saddles" just lift out?

Hi all,

Do the "screw saddles" just lift right up when the hex screw is removed, or is there a wire attached to each individual saddle that would need to be clipped?

I was referencing the post the pictures and compares all the saddle types, and saw there is a wire on the ballbearing type but not the screw type. Was hoping it is a simple removal.

Hi @DLQ; there is a small piezo element affixed to the underside of every saddle. Best bet, I think, is to clip it at the summing board, but I don’t have much experience with that; definitely don’t try to remove the piezo element from under the saddle.

The saddles do lift right up once you remove the screw.
