I use an AxeFxII into a Metric Halo ULN8. My PA is a couple of Atomic Neos and Turbosound 15”subs. I play loud.

I record directly from the ULN8 and mix in a bit of the camera mic to add some room ambience and crowd reaction.

I’ve spent a lot of time trying to get a proper sound and feel for Kaths playing. He didn’t use a real guitar amp. He used some kind of powered PA board for his amp rig. Very strang approach but it sure worked for him.
