Bullwinkle fit: I just bought one on reverb. Said it was an '09 "new old". Doesn't appear to fit my '04 Parker fly. Is this a)designed for a different model?
b) a generic product that just doesn't fit Parker flys?
c) fitting properly and I don't get it?
d) not being used properly?
e) something ...

FYI no piezo sound easiest cure
Had to share this: after picking up my fly for the first time in a couple months, no piezo. Had a switch problem before that I fixed, so trouble-shot all the known things (thanks to this wonderful site) but no solution. Googled buying a new power chip and planned to do some practice soldering before ...

Re: NiteFly SA Noise from Piezo
… and just like that, the thunder(dirty record spinning) sound is gone. Whatever was out of whack must have snapped back in… or perhaps some cosmic static in my house stopped after a couple days. Didn’t change anything- I opened the guitar up to take a look and fiddled around but the static seemed ...

Re: NiteFly SA Noise from Piezo
Thanks for this post folks. I believe my early ‘04 mojo is experiencing the exact same problem, which just started today and was not present a few days ago. although I would describe the sound as a dirty record player…..

Re: “What’s This Worth?” Thread
And at that moment a clean refined fly with all the fixings appeared on reverb for under $1200, from an unknown seller out of Switzerland, and disappeared within 5 minutes. Wtf? Was it a scam that got flagged, or someone’s miracle? It seems that it’s not really possible to rip someone off via reverb ...

Re: “What’s This Worth?” Thread
I’m curious how all those cosmetics play out (esp if it has a homemade paint job ); aside from the aesthetics as an indicator of how the guitar may have been treated, what is the discount on a thrashed but fundamentally/structurally sound fly? Big presumption that the guitar IS in good functional ...

Re: Neck/body seam - cosmetic or structural?
Update to this - I've examined the de-lam extensively and even tensioned parts of the guitar gently, adjusted action and other things and it very much seems like a cosmetic degradation after a couple decades. I recall from doing fiberglass lamination and coating on a number of (non-musical ...

Re: Fly weight?
Proud new owner of an early ‘04 Mojo clear coated (trans cherry…I think); it came in at 5lb 12oz (no trem bar); light for a guitar, but not pre-refined light as I remember when I was a teenager;

Neck/body seam - cosmetic or structural?
I pulled the trigger and acquired an ‘04 mojo - came in today. Excitement. It’s def out of my reasonable spending range, but I went for it.

Re: “What’s This Worth?” Thread
Thank you for your audience and thoughtful response to my clumsy series of neophyte queries - i re-read it a few times, deepening my fascination. Although I fear it is accompanied by a deepened obsession (as spectator only!) with the twists and turns of Parker fly transactions.

Re: “What’s This Worth?” Thread
My Parker fly obsession has come back (dormant from the late ‘90’s until 2021, then a pause until a couple weeks ago). It’s been great reading the wealth of info and perspectives here.
Looks like now there are a few dozen flys available out there and the floor is ~$2.5k, with a lot of models in ...
