I am getting into this lately... LOL, But, besides the cheaper construction of this guitar (plastic binding) it sounds amazing! I would love to play a P8 or P9 more emblazoned.

I don’t know that we have this information, but it’s possible—are you thinking that your DFR 522 was made in 2010? I don’t recall: was that model made in Indonesia—if so, did you see this post?

I’ll add that I do love my Fly Bass FB-4 😊 It makes me seem like a better bass player than I am 🤣 They’re not so common and they’re on the pricey side, but I’m a big fan!

I"ve bought a bunch of custom covers from them. I name my guitars and usually get them custom covers. I haven't done my Parkers but I would assume they can help out.

Probably not a lot of help... But I have a PRS Tonare in parlor size, fully acoustic and it's an amazing guitar for its price point. It doesn't compete with my Taylor 712 CE, but again, at its price it definitely has the bang for the buck.

Seeing the dimensions were narrower and thinner you must assume it was mislabeled and possibly a nine. But you never know, it's quite possible 16 years later it is just tired. The pros will chime in shortly.

Adrian has unfortunately switched back to the stratocaster though.
