All of the videos I've seen on YouTube about using Deoxit or something similar - show it being very easy to access where you're applying the lubricant. Thanks for the response. I may try it myself and if it seems too much I will take it to the local guy. Parker didn't do anything simple or easy lol. Probably why I like them so much! If the pickups weren't attached to the pick guard anyone could swap it out. That's probably why they did it this way ...

I just purchased another Nitefly and I absolutely love it! I want to swap out the pick guard as it's the only thing that SHOWS ANY wear. Is it complicated? Should/could I attempt it myself or do I need to take it to a shop? I don't know anyone here - moved a few years back from the area that I knew ...

I haven't been able to locate any info on the Event Series Acoustic Guitar Serial numbers and manufacture dates. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

I see a Midifly on Reverb missing the back plate. I'm surprised no one is making these. I've seen a few Niteflys missing them over the years as well.
