I appreciate the suggestion! Unfortunately even if I wanted it, I wish more GC’s shipped to Canada lol!
Furthermore to my comments above, what is the primary difference between a Nitefly Mojo, and a Nitefly Mahogany? Is it simply just the pickups and the flamed top on some of the Mojos?

Re: “What’s this worth?” thread
Hello everyone,
I have been keeping an eye out lately as I’m looking to purchase a Nitefly Mojo or a Fly Mojo. I am curious everyone’s thoughts on the two. I currently own a Nitefly but looking to upgrade. I’m looking at a Nitefly Mojo and Fly Mojo both around the $2K-$2.2K range currently. Firstly ...

Re: Pickup Magnetization
@mmmguitar
The pickup had a loose solder joint beleive, so it was reconnected and tested by my Tech. He noticed it was weaker so raised it, but that's all he could do at the time. The pickup has not been rewound yet or anything. Overall the pup sounds weak and tinny but more noticeably the Low E ...

Pickup Magnetization
Hey Everyone,
Finally got my NFV1 back from getting the bridge pickup re-wired as there was a disconnect in the system somewhere! I will update my other post with an new wiring diagram so hopefully others can reference it in the future as these "passive" Niteflys seem to have little reference ...

Re: NVM1 Wiring
@moreteavicar Alright so the guitar is finished I just need to go and pick it up! My one question I how do (or did) you go about using the Piezo on the NFV1? Did you use a Y-cable, a preamp, two amps or anything else? I’m trying to decide on how I want to go about it.
Thanks
Thanks

@moreteavicar Thanks for the photos that helps immensely! Funny enough right before you posted this I dropped it off to a tech to try and sort it out because I was having no luck! I definitely wish I had seen these sooner, I would of saved myself some grey hairs and money

Re: NiteFly NFV1 electronics - reverting to the original.
Hi! Thanks, I have seen it - that guitar according to the owner has got "a wiring fault" - so I am not sure I can take it as a point of reference.
Hello @Majadero I am the owner of that NFV1 and I actually am getting it sorted out hopefully next week or the following week! Once I exactly pin ...

Re: Nitefly Piezo Wiring
@mmmguitar It's no problem, this is a long term project it's looking anyways  I was wondering though out of curiosity is there a thread here listing all the Nitemix pedal alternatives for the people with passive Fly's? If not I'd love to start one however the only alternative I know is the ...

Was this ever resolved? If so is it possible to snap some pictures of your wiring setup? Desperately trying to get my NFV1 to function correctly!

Re: Nitefly Piezo Wiring
@mmmguitar
Understood thanks. So would that allow for the guitar to be switched from Mag to Piezo whilst just plugged into an amp like a regular active model? Or do you believe I’d still need to switch sources in order to achieve that? I appreciate all the help

Re: Nitefly Piezo Wiring
That is absurd! I understand supply and demand and I'd need to pay a steep premium however I didn't expect well above $100/saddle. It sure is making the Greph-Tech upgrade even more desirable now! On that note, would I just require this kit: https://graphtech.com/collections/ghost-pickup-systems ...

Re: NVM1 Wiring
@ mmmguitar
I realized it needed to be cut shortly after I posted so I went ahead and did it so that connection has now been cut and still nothing. Mag or Piezo, both do not work somehow. I updated the diagram accordingly. Another thing I noticed that I find sort of odd is why does the green wire ...

Re: NVM1 Wiring
@Droptune, the capacitor bridging the input and output lugs of the piezo volume pot functions as a high-pass filter/treble bleed - You can leave it as is until you get the piezo signal working, then decide from there if you like it or not.
Let’s start troubleshooting the bad pickup: On the input ...

Re: NVM1 Wiring
@Droptune, is there a ground wire running from the middle lugs of the piezo/mag switch to the underside of the tone pot? It looks like there is; which is what we want. Yes there is, the middle two tabs on the switch are soldered together and then one of the tabs has a bare wire grounded to the tone ...

1. Is this the same guitar we were discussing here? https://flyclone.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=412&p=3167#p3167. - Yes it is, I apologize if I should of just tacked it onto that thread, same guitar although different issue.

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to solve a wiring issue with my Nitefly NVM1 wiring. Firstly I have done my best to quickly draw up the current wiring for references: https://ibb.co/B4BnPD6 . (direct link to image in case: https://ibb.co/B4BnPD6) It's far from perfect but at least it's a point of ...

Re: Nitefly Piezo Wiring
if I were to add a battery and make it active what other major changes would I need to make?
Well, the situation is this:
Graphtech is the only company currently making Fly saddles in a retail capacity, and they’re intended to be plugged in to the active Graphtech boards. This means that ...

Re: Nitefly Piezo Wiring
Dimensionally, they’re drop-in replacements - but have two wires intended to be summed to one of Graphtech’s active boards via coupling plugs. So if you end up replacing your saddle set and staying passive, you’ll need to clip the plugs of each saddle and sum the hot wires together similar to how ...
