Thanks for your reply VJ. I am similar in that I only purchase niteflys with composite necks. I also prefer the thinner body of the later models, the wiring that includes the on/off piezo button, and the ball bridge saddles.

Hey thanks for getting back to me. I use very light strings a custom set of 8 to 42. I change my strings at least once a month. But I don't believe that's the issue since I use the same strings and have the same string change habits on the other guitar. Lube the nut and the bridge saddles every time...
