Use the spay in the switch, go easy though. Unplug the ribbon cables from the board and give the ends a clean, use the spray on a cotton bud. Clean the connectors as well. Awesome. Is there a way to figure out the wiring of these 'post-refined' Mojos with graph-tech preamp? The Gibson switch is the easy part. The thing is to get the original wiring done right and not screw up the guitar lol

Yes, but before ordering something, how do I know for sure it's the pickup? When I had the pickup out of the guitar, I used a guitar cable with a wire on the ground and another on the tip of the guitar cable, and I got signal from the pickup (touching the pole pieces with a metal). Dead Dimarzio Pickup
I have a deluxe with a near-dead neck pickup (1997, Gen1). It's almost dead. You can hear a faint sound with distortion. If I leave the tone clean, you can't hear the pickup. I'm not sure what is causing it. I'm thinking there may be a bad wire in the pickup, but I don't know how to test that hypot...

lol A race to the bottom? The guy lowered it to the lower 3k realm and it lasted a few minutes online. I would say the market is pretty hot. He could have gotten away with lowering it to just $3,600 and it would have sold. We'll see how the other one does now that there is only one.
