Piezo silent in Stereo Mode
When I have my Parker Fly in stereo mode (red button in the "out" position") I noticed my piezo stops working/goes silent. It works normally in mono mode though. The magnetic pickups work fine in all modes. Is the piezo behaving like this abnormal? And if so does anyone have an idea for a solution ...

Okay wow this is great news. I guess my understanding of piezo pickups wasn't very accurate. I assumed they required an electromagnetic field to detect the vibration but I see now that's not the case. Wow so literally ANY type of string should work then. Okay then... now stringing up my ...

Can piezo pickups detect nylon strings?
I was just curious if anyone has ever tried stringing a Parker up with nylon classical guitar strings. Will the piezo pickups respond to them at all? Based on my understanding of how they actually work, my initial hunch is "no" but thought I'd double check here to be sure!

Re: “What’s This Worth?” Thread
As of its resolution a few minutes ago, I can finally share that I just had a Reverb scam refund processed, myself:
The short of it is that the swindler was ready to publish their clone of a live listing the moment it sold; and I fell for what a second look would have told me was obvious bait ...

Question about Springs
Hey guys I got a Parker that came installed with an 11 gauge spring. Also I think it has 10-46 gauge strings currently on it. As far as I know an 11 gauge spring is perfectly fine to use with both 10 and 11 gauge strings. Am I right on this? Just wanted to double check with you guys.

Re: Heaviest Parker guitar?
Ah. I didn't know there were different sizes of necks on these guitars.
I can measure mine. Where do you like measurements taken to determine neck fatness? 1st fret? 12th?
Oh could you? That'd be cool since finding measurements online have been hard to come by. Could you measure around the 1st ...

Re: Heaviest Parker guitar?
I'm mainly looking for one that has the thickest neck possible. And also a bridge humbucker as well hopefully, but that's not as important.

Re: Heaviest Parker guitar?
Interesting stuff, thanks guys. Yeah the Classic seems like it was the lightest one that I've played so far, but I've never owned an Artist or Stealth. Anyone know about how Niteflys have changed in this regard over the years? I just ask because a Nitefly is going to be my next purchase, hah.

Heaviest Parker guitar?
I'm just mainly curious, I prefer the lightweight guitars myself but I know not all Parkers were under 5 lbs. Which ones were the heaviest?

Re: Parker neck sculpts
Yeah, I do remember a time where I was kind of unfairly 😕 about my chunky neck Mojo (versus the thin neck), but, for certain things, I really do like it a lot.
Did you ever play a NiteFly? Those necks are, in fact, a bit chunkier than Fly necks. Again, at first I was sort of turned off to the ...

Okay interesting yeah I am liking more chunky necks lately these days, so good to know about those 2000s Flys. Cool! Might look into a Nitefly as well.

Do the neck sculpts of Parkers vary between models much? Are there any Parkers with thick/chunky necks for example?

Oh wow you're right, it is a Special. Thanks, and good to know OFR saddles will fit. Seems like my string slippage issue is common on trems made with zinc alloy.

Case for a PDF60
Hey guys I'm wanting to get a hardshell case for my PDF60, I know Maxxfly cases exist but are extremely rare. Is getting a Gator case my best option at this point?
