Re: WTB: Reeves Gabrels Prototype

The body is literally a slab of mahogany, I wanna say two inches thick, but that would be too much. I’ll look for pics.

Re: the Anatomy of a Fly

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking to buy 16 neck mounting bolts (screws?) and 16 neck mounting ferrules (inserts?) that go with them for the Parker Nitefly. Can anyone help me?

Thanks.

Indeed it does. I’m thinking of sending it over to Third Coast guitar shop in Chicago for painting. All suggestions welcomed

Re: Nitefly neck questions

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know what adhesive is used to glue the nut onto a Parker neck? Hide glue? Super Glue? Elmers?

Thanks.

Nitefly neck questions

Hi Folks, I was going through my collection of Nifefly necks and found 4, pictured below. Coincidentally, all 4 have the same truss rod problem. Namely, they’re all cranked up and the neck won’t go flat. Having said this, Can anyone recommended a qualified luthier that can repair these necks? Also, ...

Parker Neck Unfinished

Hello,

Here is a neck that came into my shop which I’ve never seen before. It’s still unfinished. What should be done to finish it? A coat of black paint? Sand it down? Help

Truss Rod Repair Question

Hello Everyone,

I have a Parker Nitefly neck whose truss rod is not working, meaning that it’s completely turned to the right to the hilt, and the neck still wont go flat. How do I repair this or does anyone know someone that can? Any and all advice welcome. Thanks in advance.

Re: Dragon Fly Wiring Please

Cool. What schematic would I use if I wanted to install the Graphtech saddles with the whole Ghost system? I have these saddles as well on my workbench. Thank you for helping me. I really appreciate it.

Re: Dragon Fly Wiring Please

Thanks. The electronic parts shown in the pics are extra parts that I had laying around my workshop. I was thinking that maybe a power chip is used in it because I do know that this Dragon Fly model takes a 9 volt battery in the back. What do you think? Do most Parker’s that take 9 volt batteries ru...

Hi Guys,

Anyone out there have the wiring diagram to the Dragon Fly? I have the root beer SSH with Duncan’s model. Any help would be just grand. Thank you.

Re: Adrian Belew Project - Help Everyone

Good to know. I had no idea about this. An ideal, cheaper combination would be a Fernandez sustainer in the neck position, Ghost saddles w/Hexpander, and Variax 6. I'm thinking about using this combination in my build. I'll pass on the Roland GK-2 pickup. What do you think?

Re: Adrian Belew Project - Help Everyone

Excellent info. Thanks. I wrote to the people at RMC and they said that the RMC pieces that I need to build my own Belew is as follows:

1 set PBPF14-6 Pow'r Bridge PF 6-string 14" leads $ 349.
1 P-D 1 K Poly-Drive 1 miniature poly preamp $ 379.

A bit of reference for you.

Re: Parker Fly, NiteFly, and Fly Bass Electronics and Wiring Guides

Does anyone know why Parker went with an RMC (piezo?) saddles on the Adrian Belew model rather than the cheaper Ghost saddles? I'm trying to build one of these guitar.
